Newbie question

My host is lunarpages. They have one click installation on zen cart. I have used the faq here to change a few things but many times it states to go to admin instead of giving me a file to go to to change the coding.

I'm confused. Am I doing something wrong. For instance I would like to replace the top banner and replace the top left logo. Not sure how to do this I have the images uploaded in the file faq said to create but what file do I go to to edit.

Thank you in advance

my site is https://www.digitalbydemand.com

Re: Newbie question

Hi Kelin,

First make your site modular by following instructions and whatever else you find about the subject matter
https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=142
https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=143

To change the log go to the includes\templates\YOUR STORE\Images (change logo.gif )

The disable the banner on the top login to your admin>tools>banner manager.

Take care,

Re: Newbie question

You access admin by going to https://www.digitalbydemand.com/admin

You'll need the login and password that your host entered when they installed Zencart. I assume they sent you that info in an email.

This is one reason I recommend that you don't use automatic installers like Fantastico to install Zencart - you learn a lot by installing it yourself.

I also strongly recommend that you don't use the CPanel file manager to edit your files. Get an FTP client (like Filezilla - free) and use that to download the files, edit them in Notepad ++ (also free) and upload them back to the server.

I even purchased the zen ebook.

OK I see what you mean about installing zen a different way that the way I have done so.
