How do I disable the Units in Stock field?

How do I disable the Units in Stock field?

on the product_info page as the customer is checking out. I know there's a $flag_show_product_info_quantity flag, but I don't know how to set it to false.

I would peek in the Catalog ... Product Types ... and hit the EDIT LAYOUT button and turn on/off the things that you do or do not want to see ... :smile:
