Plain text editor not working

Hi everyone.

I am new to zencart what a product to have.only problem is i set one up for someone but the plain text editor is not working.so when they hit enter to make a break instead of <br /> (as they are not developers or designers)you all know what happens yes one long line.any ideas i tried changing it to plain text but no luck.now i am stuck.all help appreciated.

Hi Warren, welcome to the Forum. :smile:

In your situation you either have to use <br /> once for line breaks and twice for paragraph breaks or install an HTML Editor. You can download one from the Downloads page, link at top of this page, but I suggest the TinyMCE Editor. Otherwise, all HTML code has to be typed in when using the Text Editor.

thanks for that,i downloaded fckeditor but even that doesn't work,losing my patience now,will have a look again tommorow,just want to make it easy for customers to add products without having to know what we know realy.don't really want to start editing files as i don't know where to start,bring back html:yuck: ha ha speak tommorow
