Need Help - Heading titles???

Thanks all Zencart users for you help,

My online Zencart store located at http://www.cyruspersiancarpets.com.au/
has a heading title problem?

All the headings are showing up as "Products"? After looking deep into this I haven't been able to find a solution as to why this is happening. I do have a few contributions installed, but only recently had this problem. (Couldn't find what it was)

It shows up on the Home page and on all our Custom Pages (Services, Online Orders, Rug Care and About us).

If anyone could help in returning these Headings back to normal titles it would be absolutely appreciated.

Well if you look closely the word "Products" is echo'ed instead of the real heading titles.

I looked again and it is only your home page that has "Products" as the cat heading and I think that this is not a true cat at all - All others are as they should be

It may have something to do with the way you have set up your custom define pages. Not only do they all have "Products" at the top, they also all have a repeat of the breadcrumb code in a <td> element.

The home page looks like it is acting correctly - no duplicate of breadcrumbs, and the heading has a different source than the custom pages.

"Cool his Jets" ? I would turn them off and let him crash and burn

As disinclined as i am to help anyone who insists on biting the hand he's asking to feed him before the fact, if you click on the items in his 'information' box, they do, in fact, all show 'Products' in the main page.

Kobra - I apologise about my "Jets" situation its mostly frustration, Im quite a friendly person face to face and I do appreciate all help from volunteers. It wont happen again.

Stevesh - Thankyou for your empathy, I should have mentioned that all customer pages are inside the "Information Box". I would never bite my friends, and Im sorry for insinuating that I would.

gjh42 - Thank you for your advice, I believe that it could be related to custom pages and I've done plenty of customisation to fit. Im going to have a few coffee's and check all the custom pages. I did attempt in tracking the source of the variable "Product", It appears to be "HEADING_TITLE" but in changing this variable didn't seem to fix the problem.

Not a huge issue for me as you noticed I did post back and we all get to that point at times.

I thought you were referring to the category heading titles and this was not clear in your posting that it was your "Custom" pages

It doesn't do it on your Contact us, which is a built-in define page.

It looks like you may have 'cloned' your custom pages from the first, and not changed the heading title.

Are these E-Z pages?

Great clue stevesh, I think you might be onto something.

Contact us is the only built-in define page. The rest were completely created from the how to guide found at "http://lifefeed.net/zencart/static_page.php".

Only the "Australian Stores" pages (On the Right hand side) were made with ezpages. I guess if I could have 2x Ezpages it would be much easier! So instead I've got had to create custom pages with the guide above.

I believe it is a custom pages problem, but Im not sure why "Products" would have ended up on the Home page?....

Hello kobra, well actually you are right about that. I would actually need to have, say for instance two completely seperate ezpages sideboxes (One for left and right side of the page). Which from my understanding is not yet possible?

Anything is possible... if you know how to code for it.
There are threads discussing cloning other sideboxes, and the principles could most likely be adapted to that one. Once you have two of them, you can add code to each that filters to display the desired group of pages.

If you don't need the full dynamic control of ez-page menu display, you could use something like the Blank Sidebox or Editable Sidebox mods from Downloads, and enter the desired links into it using the zen_ez_pages_link() function, like this:

I am having the same problem, some pages are turning out fine, but some just tagged with Products.

Anyone found any solution yet? Or the cause of it?

If anyone is still looking for solution to this problem, you may search in the developer's tool for 'product_filter_defines

I found this in:
/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/YOUR_TEMPLATE/product_filter_defines.php

I must have added this mod sometime back, when I remove the mod, I probably didn't remove this, and for my case, when I remove this file from the server, the title goes back to normal.
