Featured products in What's New scrolling sb!

After installing the featured scrolling sidebox downloaded from ZC I found my featured products scrolling in my What's New sidebox too, before the new products!! Can somebody please take a look at my site and tell me how to solve this?

As a new shop and most likely still with the default new item settings, all items are listed as "New" and why they appear in both SB's

admin > config > maximum values > New Product Listing - Limited to ... > select a date range for your new products

I've already set New Product Listing - Limited to... to 1, current month. And the products you see in Featured sb were inserted nearly 2 months ago, I've only set them as "featured" yesterday, when I downloaded the box...
