Add space between categories menu

Can someone tell me how to increase the space between category menu items (the sidebox)?

I've tried line-height in CSS but if the category spans more than one line this too gets affected.

If I know where to find the code that renders the menu I could add a <p> tag in the loop.

Thanks kobra but that will define the space between the element border and the element content.

I need a space after each line.

You might take a look at the Categories Dressing mod.

I remember something about adding dividers.
