It appears I am having an AuthNet issue...

OK, I've reviewed the relevant threads, and have tried some of the solutions there, nothing is working thus far...

This is the error I am getting:
Communications Error - Please notify webmaster. - Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct any information and try again or contact us for further assistance.

We just recently updated the whole LAMP environment.
Our hosting company is Netriplex.
curltest results (with authnet=1 extension) is as follows:
1 Protocol https not supported or disabled in libcurl

Array
(
    [url] => "https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll"
    [http_code] => 0
    [header_size] => 0
    [request_size] => 0
    [filetime] => -1
    [ssl_verify_result] => 0
    [redirect_count] => 0
    [total_time] => 0
    [namelookup_time] => 0
    [connect_time] => 0
    [pretransfer_time] => 0
    [size_upload] => 0
    [size_download] => 0
    [speed_download] => 0
    [speed_upload] => 0
    [download_content_length] => 0
    [upload_content_length] => 0
    [starttransfer_time] => 0
    [redirect_time] => 0
)

The host company and root access command of php -m says that curl is installed.

We are in a bit of a time rush with this since it is a live site that was working and now seems to have eaten it somewhere, so any information would be GREAT! Thanks all! :)

VladTepis:

1 Protocol https not supported or disabled in libcurl

Your CURL was not compiled with SSL support.

Re: It appears I am having an AuthNet issue...

TY Dr. Byte! You are the man! lol

When the hosting service updated Apache and recompiled it, they checked cURL, but not SSL cURL...I recompiled it, works like a charm now...lol Thanks

Maybe you could help me with another issue we are having. On a different site, same host, same version, we allow different shipping methods. In particular, express, media, and parcel I believe are the options. The problem is, someone can choose media, which is the most common choice there, and it will show that all the way until they hit paypal (paypal standard is the payment module we are using) and then it charges the shipping that is the top of the list (In this case, express). And it doesn't matter which shipping options we use, nor what they choose, it always defaults at paypal to the "top" one (which is also usually the most expensive one...lol). Any light you could shed on this would be great!

Thanks! The site is www.eagletreepress.com/cart btw.

Re: It appears I am having an AuthNet issue...

Is that problem only when using PayPal?
What version of Zen Cart?
What addons/contributions are installed?
What's unique to this site vs a brand new install?
