Custom template not showing in admin Template Selection

I'm trying to create a custom template. I have zencart installed on my local server.

I have followed the instructions both from the book and help. Generally straight forward - create a new template folder (mine is includes\templates\mbb). I followed the books suggestion of simply copying the classic folder and renaming it. I then updated the template_info section.

The problem is when I go to the admin section and go to Template Selection. It simply isn't an option. I can't figure out what is wrong. It seems like the admin section is using a cached or saved version and isn't recognizing the change. I even made some silly changed to the Classic green one to see what would happen. I renamed it boo and nothing changed. I actually removed the classic green folder and nothing changed.

I seem to be the only person with this problem so none of the other posts helped.

I hate prostores and I really want zencart to work - help!

This is a late reply to your question, maybe you've already got it solved, but if not, did you copy your modified template folder into your templates folder. You can find this in includes/templates/
If you have other templates in your default then you should also see them here
