Orders doesn't appear in Customers->Orders

Hi there,

I'm using Zen Cart 1.3.8 with Database Patch Level: 1.3.8. with Paypal module, Dual Pricing an Canada Post modules.

Everything seems to work well except that I can't see customers orders (from tests I made) in "Customers"->"Orders".

However, if I go to "Reports"->"Products purchased" then in this "Best Products Purchased" section I click on a number at left of one of these items (calling stats_products_purchased.php) I got a list in which a Order ID# column is displayed. By clicking on the Order ID number, I'm redirected to (orders.php?oID=3&action=edit) where I now can see all information about this order. This tells me that my orders are well stored in the DB.

Any idea why Order section isn't populate ? :huh:

I ran the script without change, so I decided to take a look in phpMyAdmin and see the order_status table content. My surprise to see that these records had a language ID attribute!

Back in Zen Cart Admin I change language for english instead of french and I suddently saw the order status, the order in Customers->Orders, etc

mmm... strange design idea... at least, script should considering the case of no translation available and then displaying the default language values or something like this in order to avoid these confusing behaviour... :wacko:

Actually, it's great that you came back and followed up.. I'm sure someone else will benefit.

I found the problem also on the customer side under "My account" (orders didn't showing up there too) so I had to resolved this absolutely. So the solution that I found is in this new thread:

I'm not sure why your site didn't do that correctly.
I just tested a fresh 1.3.8 install, and when I added a new language, it automatically created new order-status records for me. I just needed to go and type in the translations to replace the existing english copies of the status names.
