using zencart without ecommerce functions, just email an order request

Hello Ok is it possible to use zencart with the similar add to cart option but when for the check out it simply emails the store owner and generate an Order ID. There is no card processing the store has to function like

a member ads to cart and check out and submit , the store owner can then call the member to verify their order and he make arrangements.

is this possible??

Why not just throw some html together with a mailto: link and be done with it?

well i will need to bypass the credit card section in the checkout process ?? . Like after they select shipping i can have a screen with payment options

1. Cash on delivery
   2)Pick up and pay cash.

Then the next screen will have confirm order once sent i will be emailed the order number as well as the customer.

What dbltoe meant was that you don't need to edit anything.

There is a payment module for Cash On Delivery, and a shipping module for Store Pickup. You just have to activate them in Admin.
