EXACTLY where do I insert SITEMETER code?

I am a total newbie but usually catch on fast. However all the instructions I've read so far for Sitemeter are vague...."insert code into includes or template" for example. (I like the simplicity of Sitemeter vs Google Analytics.) Exactly where do I place the code, please, in order for Sitemeter to track pretty much every page viewed. Store is surpiegirl.com. i.e. includes/templates/<your template>/common/tpl_footer.php
