site switching to test mode

Hi All,

I am a very much a novice here, so I apologise if this sounds like a daft question!

Our site has been up and running for approximately four months. I only have access to the admin control panel, any changes that can't be made in this control panel I email the web development company and they change.

About a week ago our site mysteriously changed to test mode, which meant the orders in this week no money was recieved for them (through nochex). I know this is something that cna be controlled by the admin panel, but I haven't even been into that area before, and I was wondering, before I send an outraged email to the web development company for making changes wihtout notifying me, that this can change automatically for any reason???

Many thanks

Clare

Re: site switching to test mode

If you can get access to the actual database - there is a table "admin_activity_log" that records admin activity, like what & when settings are changed

Or there's an addon in the downloads area that will let you view the activity log right from inside your admin: http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&cPath=40_41&products_id=1030
