Showroom Only- Button for Contact Us

Our store is a showroom only and the Add to Cart is now replaced by Contact us text link. I've been looking to see where this is but have not found the file.

Can anyone direct me as to where the file of this Contact Us link is and how I can change it to a button?

you may want to look at the ask a question module. and go in to the admin -> catalog -> product types and tyrn onf the add to cart functions for your main product type

I wouldnt mind this either because sometimes my website will be in showcase mode, during holidays and so on. I want to keep the contact us option.

I made a more permanent solution to this and just commented out the whole cart. Installed the Ask a Question button. I figured this would work better because customers can direct their question about the item they are interested in while a more general question can be done through the contact us page.

if you go to catalog->product types you can turn off the add to cart block right there.

I'm posting this reply to anyone who's looking to make the contact us link in "Showcase Only No Prices Mode" into a button, theres loads of posts on this subject so here goes.

Obviously you need to have your button made already, I've called mine Contact_Us.gif and upload to your template images directory of choice.

In includes/languages/english/english.php

find:
Line #512 : define('TEXT_SHOWCASE_ONLY','Contact Us');

And change to:

define('TEXT_SHOWCASE_ONLY','<a href="http://yoursitename/yourdirectory/index.php?main_page=contact_us"><img src="includes/templates/yourtemplate/images/Contact_Us.gif"></a>');

I found the solution to the OP's problem in the functions_general.php file. Search for zen_get_buy_now_button

Wow. That's a bit rough. I just found this post searching for the answer to something quite similar. I would've been thrilled if he had the answer to my issue, even if he was too late to help the OP.
These forums are for us to help each other, it's a little rude to burn someone who is contributing answers, regardless of their timing. At least it's there to help the next guy, which is more than your post even tried to do.

Your right I forget that tome of voice does not carry over the internet and I have never really gotten used to emocons.

I have given plenty of support and software away for free, I only charge when I have to open a text editor and do it for them.
