Still Attribute Ignorant

I still struggle with the attributes !!

I haqve managed to set up some of our audio products to download hen purchased. That was a win for me! :-)

Now e are finding some of them are too large for slow connections....

What I would like to do is ann an option for peoiple to purchase them on a cd.

Like a Check box that says something like check here to purchase the CD and when checked have it add an amount to the order..

Do if the download product was 5$ ... and thge CD option as checked it would add another 5$ to the order making the total order 10$

Make sense???

I sure have been unable to figgure it out!

Make an Option Name for the Download as either a Radio Button or Dropdown

NOTE: if the Option Type is a Radio button, be sure to mark it selected, if a dropdown and it is the only choice it will automatically change to a selected radiobutton

Make an Option Value for it such as: Download it!

Next make an Option Name for the CD Media and pick Option Type Checkbox ...

Make an Option Value for it such as: Mail it!

Next in the Attributes Controller, add the filename to the Download Download it! attribute ...

Then, on the CD Media Mail It! add the price and weight for shipping ...

Now if the customer checks the box for the CD Media Mail It! they will be charged extra charge and shipping charge ... and get the download ...

If they do not check the box, then they just get the file and no shipping ...
