How to show All Products only under the welcome page?

Hi,

Currently site show 'New Products'. How can show all products with cart and quantity etc under the welcome (index) page?

I know I can get rid of the 'New Products' etc but don't know and ca not see where I can show 'All products ' on the index page.

Some one should know this surely. I mean If one can list Specials, new products etc why can't I list ALL products in the index (home) page?

I also want to do the same thing. I mean customers seem to prefer it for convenience, just like eBay.

I guess one way to do it would be to redirect home page to the products all page.

Yeah and how messy is that considering what Zencart can do with other stuff..why not do this too

I tried to convert the index page into product all page by copying the content of tpl_products_all_default.php into tpl_index_default.php, but that doesn't work. All I got was a "More products will be added soon. Please check back later" message.

Also searched more threads to no avail.

In what manner do you want to see all Products?

Have you an URL that we could peek at to see what this looks like to see what it could look like?

My first thought is to clone the featured products, if you cannot use that as it is, and mark them all to be displayed ...

But then, there might be a different approach that seeing your site would help determine a better method ...

Ajeh the store has gone back local so I can't show you right now. But the manner I want to show all products is similar to the way eBay does it, e.g.

As you can see, it's really the tpl_products_all_default template, but located on the index page (hence my failed attempt to copy over the template content).

I guess I could try to make the center boxes emulate row display, but I would lose the sorter drop menu, which is very useful to customers.
