Change label of shipping method

Hello,

I am going to propose two shipping method to my customers, 1st a Free shipping (i installed flat rate with 0, works great) and an other DHL shipping on table base rate, that i settup.

Now my problem is at checkout page it is showing :

Flat rate

0 : Best way

Table Rate

15: Best way

Is there any way to customize the : Best way and the title ? On top I wan to put

Local Post (instead of Flat rate)

0 : Free shipping , but at customers own risk as local post is not trustable.

DHL (instead of Table rate)

15 : Add several item to save shipping price (for example upto 5 items shipping is same)

Is this possible to do please ?

Admin - Tools - Developers Tool Kit

Search for the text you want to change and you'll see the file(s) where that text is defined. Then edit the file to say what you want it to say.

Don't forget to leave the single quote marks in the define statement.

to edit i am forced to download the file and edit it or, there is also a tool in Admin that can let me edit a file ?

No, you'll need to download it. The only files you can edit directly in admin are the define pages.

(I download those, too. Seems easier to do everything the same.)

An other question, it is by defualt selecting the flat even though i changed the order : DHL (table) is on roder 1 and Flat is on order 2 on page it do show good order. But it go and slect the Flat by default. I would like the DHL to be selected by default how to do it ? Doese it select flat becuase it is cheaper (free) ?

I believe it automatically selects the cheaper method (best for your customers). Search the forum for 'shipping default' for more info.

Problem is the Free shipping is by local post office my country , the local posta srveice suck , it is not reliable, but i do propose it as Free but at customers own risk, i inform them. Thats why i want the other pay service DHL to be selected by default.
