The problem isn't the width of the sidebox, but the width of the input field inside it. Reduce the width from 152px to 120px and the surrounding box will fall into line.
The field width is probably hardcoded in the sideboxes template file, though as this is a Template Monster template, I can't be sure of this.
I'd also recommend that you check that this template is working properly in Internet Explorer 6 and 7. For a while the center column was broken even on Template Monster's demo site.

Thanks, Kuroi! Do you think it would be in the stylesheet or the manufacturer.php files?
Totally Zenned
It would most likely be in a sidebox template called tpl_manufacturers_select.php. But that's not guaranteed as TM may have put it somewhere else.

The box is the correct width but the drop down doesn't show at all in IE7.

I found it...thanks so much! I think TM has finally gotten the idea of the template override system...although, they definitely have their bugs. Any idea why the drop down doesn't show the manufacturer's I have entered?

It's not a drop down. It's a scroll box. All you're seeing of it is the first line and the top of the scroll bar because the form_2 class restricts the height to 18px.
So your options are to either convert it to a drop down by removing the size attribute in the template that you were in earlier, or remove the height restriction (which I would do whichever option you choose).

I don't see a height restriction...am I not seeing what I should?
$content = "";
$content .= '<div id="' . str_replace('_', '-', $box_id . 'Content') . '" class="sideBoxContent centeredContent">';
$content.= zen_draw_form('manufacturers_form', zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, '', 'NONSSL', false), 'get');
$content .= zen_draw_hidden_field('main_page', FILENAME_DEFAULT);
$content .= zen_draw_pull_down_menu('manufacturers_id', $manufacturer_sidebox_array, (isset($_GET['manufacturers_id']) ? $_GET['manufacturers_id'] : ''), 'onchange="this.form.submit();" size="' . MAX_MANUFACTURERS_LIST . '" style="width:120px;" class="form_total form_2"') . zen_hide_session_id();
$content .= '</form>';
$content .= '</div>';

I don't see a height restriction...am I not seeing what I should?It's defined in your styles.css stylesheet (line 100). I would though recommend also removing the size attribute in the code that you have posted to turn this into a drop down like TM have it on their demo site. Why they give you different code to that which they use on their demo system is rather odd, but not unexpected. A search for Template Monster in this forum will give you a flavor of the frustration that you are going to have trying to make this template for for you.

I have actually worked with another TM file before and the manufacturer's box was buggy for that, too. I wonder if people complain about the difference in code, if they get anywhere??
Thank you so much! This worked like a charm. :)
