Trying to set up colour options

Hi there

I am trying to set up 3 colour options for some products on my site. Each time I try to add insert an option name I come up with this message.

1062 Duplicate entry '1-1' for key 1
in:
[insert into products_options_values (products_options_values_id, language_id, products_options_values_name, products_options_values_sort_order) values ('1', '1', 'Black', '0')]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

I'm trying to follow the zen tutorial but my brain is completely fuzzled by it all.

I want to add the colours black, white and multicoloured but can't seem to get there.

Can anybody tell me step by step how to do it?? I want to add this attribute to my personalised items category on my site https://www.allysbargainstore.co.uk

Hi Ally,

Have you set up first - your Option Name through Catalog (Which will be Colour) and secondly your colours through Option Values?

Hi, yep I have tried that but that is when I come up with the error message :(

In the Options Value I click Colour Name in the drop down box and then try to put in Black in the en box and then press insert but get that message :censored:

Most things I have been able to figure out by myself and searching on this forum but that has really got me stumped and frustrated
