3 sites one image file!

I have a huge image file that I will be using for 3 different stores. Is there anyway to Load my image file once and point all 3 sites to that one file?

What is this "Huge Image File" to be used for?

My wholesaler has about 3500 products and I want to break them down into different stores. Problem is the image file has 3500 images in it. So I want to put like 120 product is one store and 300 in another and so on. I can put the image file on the server but I don't load the 3500 into every store. I want to load it just once and point each site to the image file.

You did not answer my question about if these will be on the same server???

Yes they would all be on the same server. I didn't see anything dealing with image files on the multi-site comb.
