create account blank page

I edited the text in my create_account.php file, and now when I try to create a new user account it sends me to a blank page. After reading some of the other threads, I decided to upload a backup copy of the original file thinking the problem might be a syntax error, but it didn't fix the problem, I still keep getting a blank page. My site is both in english and portuguese, when i view the site in english it works fine, it's only the portuguese version that's giving me the error. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'll let you know what it turns out to be for me.
