Coupon Amount Creation

When i trying to create the coupon in admin i need to give the percentage amount (like 10%). if i used in the amount field as 10% it took $10.00. while editing that coupon it displays like this $10.00.

How can i give the percentage amount...?

In the input field for COUPON AMOUNT, be sure to type in 10%, not just 10 .

By putting in the % symbol, you tell zencart to apply the value as a percentage.

I am trying to create a 25% off coupon. When I type in the amount of the coupon, I am typing in 25% with the %sign. After I confirm everything and look at the edit information, the coupon amount shows up as $25.00.

I've gone back and edited this twice and the same thing happens. Any suggestions?
