Main Page Fixes and Changes

Hello All, I'm in the process of learning Zencart so I can get my store up and running. Right now let's focus on the main page.

1. For some reason, the spacing between the category pics is too much. I want to have at least 4 pics in one row. Right now I have 3.

2. I want to create a box on the main page with some general store information after the categories. I want to use the same design as the category box (the outline).

3. How do I center the header and footer margins?

First off you are using a Template Monster Template or one of it's clones

Please search this site for Template Monster and educate yourself about them

I am not at all sure the you have the space for 4 images in a row with this template or if it will respond to the Zen Cart admin setting but you can try

admin > config > Maximum Values > Categories To List Per Row > set to 4

Even though you are not displaying any right sideboxes the holder for them remains and you can try to turn it off

admin > config > layout settings > Column Right Status - Global > set to "0"

Know that the template may not respond well to either of these settings

Thanks for your help, the categories are showing up right. Anway to align the text underneath the category pics?

You can try adding this highlighted line and you may have to separate out into it's own entry
