need bilingual text

Hi Everyone!
I am entering products and want to use Spanglish in the Product Description and actually - through the cart. How do I set up the language so it will allow me to use both English and Spanish words? Thank you!! :smile:

If you want each line to be a mix of English and Spanish, just enter the text as you want it, and redefine the auto-generated text as you wish in the language files.

Alternatively, you can upload a Spanish language pack and allow your customers to choose which language to view the site in.

thank you but I'm afraid I don't follow - can you tell me how to set it up -step-by-step? For example, I want to use the letter "n" with the ~ line above it that has a special sound in Spanish. Thanks!

Ah ok... I suppose you will need to change the encoding for your database from the default "latin-1-swedish" or whatever it is to something that includes the right characters.
Database/encoding experts can advise you on the best type to use.
