Offer Free Shipping & UPS

I am looking to be able to offer both options, but for some reason it is not displaying.

We offer two kinds of shipping:

1. Free UPS Ground
2. Other UPS Paid Options

I have both active and configured, but when I go to the shipping options screen of the cart, it does not display the free option. When I turn off UPS, the free one shows up. Any ideas?

You need to install the Free Shipping Options freeoptions and not Free Shipping freeshipper ...

Install the Free Shipping Options freeoptions and set it to show when Total is >= 0.00 ...

Now this will show with the UPS shipping module ...

NOTE: Free Shipping freeshipper is for when you have 0 weight means Free Shipping or are using Always Free Shipping ...

I have set up everything. But my customers need this option:
a. its UPS free ground shipping for order over $200
b. and they need the option of having faster service but they have to shoulder the cost of shipping.
c. i want to display other UPS options even when it's free

I would like to offer Free Shipping ONLY on Certen Products, as well as offer UPS Shipping... is there anyway to do this?

I can always code something, if someone can point me in the right direction as to where to code it.

0 weight will give you Free Shipping ... install the UPS module and the Free Shipping freeshipper and when the order is with other Products the Free Shipping Products with 0 weight add nothing to the shipping for the order ... when you have only the 0 weight products then the Free Shipping freeshipper runs ...

If you need both to run, the Free Shipping and UPS at the same time, however, you will need some custom coding as these are defined to run separately ...

Yes, but i need to have a weight... because i want to offer my customers the option to UPGRADE to UPS Next Day for example, but i cant do that with the 0 weight option...

That was the part where the custom coding comes in ...

You need a new field such as:
products_free_shipping_option

and add that to the Admin for adding/editing and then to shipping methods you would need to customize the code to allow a Free Shipping method when only these products are in the cart ...

This is not complicated but it can take some time to write ...
