cURL answers for a rookie

My host provided me with the following... where do I have to add this?

root@quest [~]# php -i | grep curl
cURL Information => libcurl/7.18.0 OpenSSL/0.9.8b zlib/1.2.3 libidn/0.6.5

Add what? where? why?
Why did your host give you that?
What are you expecting to "do" with it?
Is there some sort of particular problem you're trying to resolve?

Did your Hoster not also tell you the above was for information purposes only?
There is nothing you can "do" with the information, except record it but it is the same information you find here:

Admin > Tools > Server/Version Info -- search the page for 'curl'

I only need the certificate info to add in the admin area?
What Cert info would you be referring to?

The learning is in the doing.
