Is there a way that's fairly simple?

I'm finally stummped and turn to those that are wiser and probably cleverer then me. ;)

I manage my dad's business website and need to find a solution. Normally the shipping is set per item and there is no problem, but every now and again there is an order that comes in late and there is the need to charge over night shipping. Usually orders that come in like a week or less before the event would need to ship this way.

Is there a way to modfy the shipping modules already in Zen to do this?

Which shipping modules are you using? I know that various levels of shipping can be selected via checkbox when you configure UPS.

Ahhh... and there's the rub I suspect. I'm not using any modules other then PayPal... I'm not handling the shipping aspect, that's being done in a totally different location.

I know that using the FedEx module would probably be the solution, however... don't have access to that info and the shipping via that method is all handled manually as he has a business acount with them.

Basically I need to be able to do this to make it where my dad doesn't have to change much if anything on the way he ships things.

If you want the customer to know what he/she will be charged for shipping (and I guess you do) you'll have to install the module for whatever shipping company you're using. You'll still be able to do the actual shipping (UPS Worldship for example) manually. You (or your Dad) will have to take the customer info from Zencart and add it to the shipping software database manually, weigh the package, and ship.
