Column Layout not sticking to size settings

First: the example (as of July 16th, 2008 @ 4:43pm Pacific)
Browser in use: Firefox 3.0
Using a template from algozone:

it seems as though each time you click a new product listing page (for example, cycle through each "Industry" such as Insurance, Real Estate, etc) and the column layout will vary from properly spaced apart, to close to one another, to widely spaced, to right ontop of one another.

I've found that shift-refresh will work fine. till I navigate away and then back again and it is back to it's old tricks.

a tad little vexing when ever that occurs.

As suggested to me before I've cleared the empty spaces at the end of column layout's PHP, and even further, uploaded a fresh version.

So, any suggestions?

if not, how would one go about uninstalling column view (sometimes that is the problem, but I do not know how to go about that)

Thye all look just the same to me in both IE7 and FF2.

Yeah, I just did some light testing on my windows box, and it seems to be OK on my windows box. (although, I still haven't thoroughly tested it)

Firefox 2 on my Mac seems to give me the same problem (albeit little bit less often, and not all the same problem of cramming, just lining up ontop one another and only about on 1/4 clicks on the category product listing views will come up wonky)

but still, I have a feeling this problem is one to continue looking into and will only get worse as:
A: people from non windows boxes come on to the site
B: more people use firefox 3

it also seems to have that same kind of problem with Opera 9 and Safari.

Still can't make it happen here in IE7 and FF2, although when I view it in Opera and Safari (both under XP) I always see only one column in the product listing. IE7 shows two columns.

This might be a clue - IE8 shows two columns, but always shows all the items in each column right on top of each other for every category.

Firefox 3. on the other hand, I'm seeing the product listing switch between one and two columns as I change categories, seemingly randomly.

Have you switched temporarily to the 'classic' template to rule Algozone out?
