Is it possible to set shipping cost for every product?

Hi,

I sell many kind of items (heavy, light, small, large), so setting shipping cost is a little tricky.

First I would like to set shipping cost for every product individually, is that possible? So if customer only buy one product shipping cost for that item is what I have marked for that product.

Next there should be groups for shipping cost with wage limit. If customer buys 5 different product, but they are all in the same shipping cost group the shipping cost would be x. Shipping cost groups does not show for customers, they just help seller.

And finally if customer buys several items from numerous different shipping cost group the cost of shipping would be calculated with total weight of package. Also if customer buys items from one shipping cost groups, but exceeds the weight limit than the cost of shipping would be calculated by weight.

Bonus: If the totall cost of order is over x ($), then shipping cost is FREE.

Is all this possible with ZenCart (or any other e-commerce software). Or is there a module? Maybe somebody would like to create this module, I would pay.

There's a commercial Zencart shipping module you could Google for that purports to be able to do just about anything you want to do shipping-wise. That might be your best bet for a scenario that complicated.

You mind sharing which mod that is? pm me if that violates any rule.
