Coupon not subtracting from total

My coupons are not subtracting from the total. can someone help?

Gift certificate / Coupons:

Uses per Coupon :: Unlimited
Uses per Customer :: 1
Valid Product List :: NONE

Coupon Zone Restriction: :: 0

That way we can see if there is anything weird setup.

Change uses per coupon to unlimited and see what happens :cool:

Also is their a minimum that needs to be met for free shipping?

ok great!! that worked. how do you change the status of a coupon. i have 3 in there 2 of which wont work because their status is "N". they are not expired.

You should be able to click on the edit button of that coupon under gift certificates / coupons and re-activate it. If not, just write down the current settings, delete that one, and add a new one. Make sure your expire date is past your start date. I know when I first did coupons the lovely calendar played tricks on me causing it not to activate, and another time it was due to not having a coupon name if I remember correctly.

You just have to finesse it a little bit, you'll get it :smile:

it wont let me delete either

Are you getting an error when trying to delete or something? Mine just goes to inactive status when I click on the delete button (not sure why that is, when I want to delete, I want to delete!). To get around it what I did was go to the inactive coupon, clicked on the copy button, setup my parameters and a different coupon code. It will then be active, edit that coupon, take the copy:: out of the name and be sure to set the useage to unlimited (for some reason when editing it does not save that setting each time you edit).

Give that a whirl and see if that works for you :D

Glad to hear that you are going in the right direction.

No, we do not use gift certificates. I would also think it may get messy doing online so we chose to stay away from them.
