Auto print when order is placed??

Question about zen cart??
I have looked in the posts and FQA's and could find the info I was looking for and would like to know if ZEN Cart has the ability to do this;

I am trying to use this in a coffee house setting were people can go online and order there drinks off a menu to have them delivered. Specifically I would like some to be able to place a multiple drink order and when they submit the order it would automatically print to my dymo label printer each label would have the specific drinks on it. If this is confusing please let me know and I will try to clarify.

"dymo label printer "??? I am datng myself but this to me is the embossed plastic strip....I am sure that this is not what is being referrenced...

Custom Code will have to be written for this but you can search the 3rd party mods that already have some label printing abilities written and adapt these to your end use

They still make those but they also make a thermal label writer that rocks!!

Lots of old folks here - I thought the same thing when I saw 'dymo'.

There's a mod here that seems to be a sort of driver for that printer. The auto-print would be the hard part, but **swguy **might have some ideas.

You can also have swguy assist you on a fee basis, or if you only need pointers - here on the forum
