Image in Sidebox with link to page in site

Hi,

I'd like to have an image in a sidebox that when people clicks on it, it will take them to a new page in the site. E.g Care Instructions image then it will go to a page explaining care instructions for the product.

The banner sidebox will only show an image but no link to a page ( at least none that is already created?) Is it possible to create an independent page to link to the banner image?

The Information or more information will have only a text on the sidebox but will have a link to a page I can create.

Any ideas?

I've been having the same problem, the "banners" don't seem to link very well. Along with that, I've been having trouble putting more than 1 banner up at the same time.

Any help would be appreciated!

I found a trick but you can only do this once for side-box banners. I added an image to the side box banner which links to More Information Page (thats the page 2,3,4 that you can freely edit).
You have to disable the sidebox for More Information then on your Configuration-Define Page Status, pick a page you would like to link to the image, then set it to 2 (link off, text on). The other pages you can set to 3 (link and text off).
Now link your banner side box to page 2 and viola! it works!

well I'm not a programmer, just experimented and found a way to do this.

a better expert might be able to improve on this, like adding img ids on it so that the images can be edited using css files.

with that addition, this module would be worth uploading into the free addons otherwise it's just a template for the blank sidebox module.
