USPS Shipping Option for First Class Domestic not showing

I would appreciate some assistance regarding an odd problem we are having whereby First Class (domestic) does not appear as a shipping option in our cart; we have Express Mail, Priority Mail and First Class checked in the USPS Shipping module configuration, however only Express Mail and Priority Mail show as options in the cart.

I am using ZenCart v1.38a and have installed the May 2008 USPS shipping module update. Our USPS Module configuration options are below.

My understanding is that the maximum weight for First Class is 13oz, so I
have been testing with 1 set of our block mounting screws which is configured
in the cart with a shipping weight of about 3oz (weight configured as 0.2 in the cart control panel).

I have tested with a combination of products as well, although the shipping weight never exceeded a pound.

And if you set the Tare weight from 0:3 which adds 3lbs to 0:0 ... does it work better? :smile:

The Tare weight does indeed make all of the difference...changing the ratio from 10:1 to 10:0 so that we are adding just 10% to the weight instead of 10% + 1 pound allows the First class option to show again. See what happens when you inherit a cart config initially done by someone else? :)
