Adding Sales Text to Home Page

Hi

I would like to add some sales text to my Home Page for the benefit of my visitors and as Google food. Can anyone advise how I can add a box of text across the center column above or below the 'Featured Products'?

You can edit define_main_page.php, either by downloading and adding your content, then uploading it back to your override folder, or by going to **Admin - Tools - Define Pages Editor **and selecting define_main_page.php from the dropdown.

BTW, you've done a nice job with the design of your site, but you'll lose it all the first time you upgrade to a new version of Zencart, as you're using the 'classic' template, and those folders will be overwritten. Search the tutorials for instructions on how to create your own template.

Thanks Steve, especially for the welcome comment on the site design. I'll look into the own template stuff later.

In the meantime, I've gone into Admin as suggested and found <h2>HELLO</h2> and into define_main_page.php which just has the Zen Cart promo stuff in it. As text from neither of these appears on the site I assume something is switched off to stop it showing. Any clues as to what needs switching on or is it something else?
