How do I get rid of header link

Would someone please tell me how to get rid of the link in the upper left corner of the header. I removed the text from between the quotes of the following code because I didn't know how to remove it, however, when I look at the site in Explorer, a little red x shows up.

// added defines for header alt and text
define('HEADER_ALT_TEXT', '');
define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', '');
define('HEADER_LOGO_WIDTH', '0px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_HEIGHT', '0px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE', '');

This code is from catalog/includes/languages/english/my_template/header.php.

Thank you.

I did it! After I posted this question, I noticed some similar threads at the bottom of the page. I read through them and followed this link
