Breaks in description text

Hey everyone,

Is there a way to make it so that in the description of the text it allows breaks? For example instead of having:

-feature 1 -feature 2 -feature 3

It goes:

-feature 1
-feature 2
-feature 3

When editing the product description it looks like it has breaks, but in the product listing page and even on the product info page it looks like it doesn't have breaks.

You mean in the description in the admin right? It doesn't seem to make a difference, Well it does in the product info, but not the listing page.

Sorry, the listing page strips out all HTML as the description is only a peice of the description and displaying only part of it with HTML would break the display ...

You could try the short-description addon ... although it may strip HTML out of it too ...

Worst-case-scenario how hard would it be to allow html in the product listing description and what would be the side effects?

The best thing to do here is to create your own custom template, try one of these suggestions and test test test with your stock to see if it works nicely. If you make this change to (say) "All Products," then scroll through to look at them all and the display still looks good, then you're clear for takeoff.
