normal + _MED works but _LRG Image Large Suffix doesnt?

ok heres my problem.
I have 3 files
002chaps in /images
002chaps_MED in/images/medium
002chaps_LRG in/images/large

normal + medium works fine but when you click the medium image the large one doesnt load, instead it loads a popup with image 002chaps.

Im very confused. Ive set this up before and had no problems. Here is my image settings

Im seriously open to suggestions!

I cannot repeat this problem ...

I change _LRG to _BIG and load the large images to either:
/images/large
/images/large/my_subdirectory

and they work fine ...

When you click on the image on the product_info page, what does the properties read on the image name and directory?

If you switch to the Classic Template do the images work now?

I hate to trouble you all with this. I'm sure the solution is something simple I have overlooked. I've always been able to find the answers to my questions either looking in my book or here on the forum, but I'm really stumped this time.

I have been successfully using Zen Cart 1.3.8.a for the last 3 months. BTW, thank you to all of the developers! It's an amazing tool and I've enjoyed working with it and using it to build my store.

Today, I added a new category and product and, all of a sudden, for this product only, I am having the same problem as the person who started this thread. The large image is popping up the same size as the original 100 X80 image. I am mystified. :dontgetit Here is a link to the new item:

I've checked and double-checked to make sure the large root file name matches the original root file name and it does. When I use the link to the file in my file manager, it's there and it shows in the proper size. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Please help. I'm so afraid that this will happen with all of my new products.

Where is your Large image located on the server and what is its filename?

Right now, it is pulling the small image:
/store/images/black-gift-wrap.gif

Ajeh: I know, huh. The large image is here:

Could you double check the file on the server for:
/images/large/black-gift-wrap_LRG.gif

and delete it and reload it?

It is really odd as your other Large images are working from the same location ... :unsure:

Aha! A clue ...

Can you rename all 3 images so that the word gift is not part of the filename? :smile:

Ajeh: So the word "gift" was the culprit. I did not know that would be a problem. Now I do.

Actually it was the gif and the code where it is removing the .gif extension got carried away ... :blink:

I love, love, love me some Zen Cart and am so glad that I used it to build my store. Deep down inside, I knew it was a simple fix but I was feeling so afraid that there was a bug or something that I became paralyzed.
