PayPal merchant comments on checkout

The PayPal checkout process allows the buyer to post comments to the merchant. I can't find where these are returned to the merchant either as information accessible by admin or in an email to the shop owner. As a result the buyer will never get a response. Any ideas?

Re: PayPal merchant comments on checkout

Ask PayPal?

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Re: PayPal merchant comments on checkout

Most eBay users are accustomed to using the Paypal comment box for shipping requests...it's common practice.
So it only makes sense that many eCommerce/Paypal customers may bring that habit along with them.

I don't think the question falls in Paypal's lap...how does ZenCart handle these comments?
If Paypal is indeed sending them, where can they be found within the ZC infrastructure?

Customer comments are usually contain CRITICAL information.
Things that end up costing the store owner money when they must fix the mistake created by poor communication.

Serious sh*t
