Google can't site - related to Footer Problem ?

I hope someone can help me with this problem.

The first thing I noticed was that Google has returned a "Network Unavailable" error for most of my pages. I did a HTTP Header check and I was getting Error 500 (Server Problem).
I immediatly contacted my host and they have come up with another problem.
When you view the Home Page, Top Level of Category and Second Level of Category the pages are displaying fine. However, for the vast majority of the Product pages the footer is not displaying !!!!

A little history here - I have recently had Magic SEO installed - could this be related?

Not familiar with the SEO Mod - but if it adheres to the override system then you can remove it's files temporarily to check.

Thanks for the advice Kobra - Unfortunately, I dont know how to remove the Mod - I paid my hosting company to install it for me. They are adamant that it is not related. After all, why would a mod which changes the URL for all pages have an effect on only the footer of some pages? I can kinda see their point, but I need to be able to rule it out somehow.
Does any one have any suggestions?

So sad!!! And they did not apply/create you a template to use for this so that you could switch to the default classic template for this and other troubleshooting issues

There is another template there, but there was never any documentation referring to what it actually was for. As you can guess, this is my first Zen Cart project - I have learned a lot by my mistakes, but in order to learn I have made a lot of mistakes. The biggest mistake so far is that I didnt use the over-ride so going to a default setup is going to be difficult.
As time goes by I will be looking to purchase a professional template or maybe have something custom made, but untill then I have to try to circumnavigate my errors.
So, do we think that the URL Mod is a high candidate for causing the problem, or ar we just assuming that is may be the cause because it was installed at almost the same time as the problem became apparent?
I am trying to work out what other things I have done recently which could cause this, but the truth is that I don't know when the problem first started. You see, when I add products (which has been the main job over the past fwe weeks) I log onto the catalogue and make sure that all parameters are correct on the site, but I have never thought to chech if the Footer is there. In short, I dont know when the Footer stopped appearing.
Anyway, would the lack of a footer cause an Error 500?

It looks as though the only pages missing the bottom section are your product info pages.

I'd try re-uploading a fresh copy of tpl_product_info_display.php to includes/templates/classic/templates and see what happens.

Thanks Stevesh - thats a great idea, but where would I find a clean and un-edited copy of the file?

Download the Zencart zip file again - I have a copy unzipped on my local computer at all times for occasions like this (although I usually need them after I have 'edited' a file beyond repair).

When viewing the source of several of your product pages, I'm not seeing
a closing body or html tag. Did you perhaps include the opening and closing html and body tags in your product descriptions?

TShooters - no, i dont use HTML when creating the product - that is to say that i dont use any code other than text formating code. I use a HTML editor within the Zen admin called FCKeditor and i only put the text in. Its exactly the same method I use to make the category pages, so I cant see why it works on the categories and not the products.

Thank you so much Stevesh - I replaced the product display template and it all works fine now. For some reason the file on the server was 1kb short. Thanks again - its working great now
