Unknown domains pointing to your website.

Hello Zenners,

I've realized some domains that do not belong to me are pointed at my website - the index page in particular. I have looked around the net for some info on how to prevent this but could not find anything helpful. Major concern is duplicate content. I see some of those domains been indexed already.

Has any experienced this? What do you do to prevent that?

How long have you had the IP of 72.167.223.114??

For about 10 days.

Not on a shared godaddy account by any chance?

Contact your host and tell tem the problem as you've described/ link to above.
It's their server settings that are causing it and not a ZC thing.

It is dedicated IP. Talked to them and said they could not do much.

From past personal experience with goDaddy, my suggeston is to RUN, not walk away from them.

I recently changed hosts and could not be HAPPIER with the pricing, the support and the speed of my page loads, not to mention the site security!

PM me if you want to know where I moved about 9 websites to from goDaddy.

There are different opinions on hosting companies and I consider everyone to be right more or less due to difference in personal needs.
However, will switching to a new host solve this issue or is it gonna be a temporary remedy as IPs and DNS change.

Those other domains have their "A" record pointed to the IP of 72.167.223.114

Not sure what they are attempting to gain???

Or what they may be attempting to do in doing so...

I would look on this site and do all the security measures for your site possible as it is quite possible that they are up to no good

Well, I just took a look at his site and then the copy-cat sites and the two copy-cat sites are now void of any inventory and all images are disabled.

The info is still there, but just in generic form. When you try to click on any of the links, you get this now:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
