Question about SSL, Godaddy hosting etc.

Hi all,

I am currently using godaddy's hosting service. However, I heard that godaddy is not a good choice for Zen cart. I have some questions below:

1. if godaddy is not good, would you suggest some good ones with reasonable price?

2. as I have almost finished the site setup, in case I really need to change hosting, anything I need to take precaution?

3. I only accept paypal payment, is it necessary for me to purchase SSL? (I will not ask for buyers' credit card info in my site)

2not really, just make sure that you have a good backup of files and DB

3 you dont need an ssl, however Im not to sure how many people will put their personal information in your site without it

First of all, do you think it is necessary for me to change host?

As from the link you sent me, bluehost seems a good choice with low price and it even provides unlimit storage!

I can't believe how it can be so low priced. Is it very slow? or it has other defects?

I would suggest searching for a particular host you are looking at on this forum to see what other might have to say.

all I can say is price isnt everything,
and alot of times Tons of space and bandwidth is just advertising

I found that it is not allowed to recommend hosting in the forum, can anyone pls PM me and gimme some suggestions? I have no idea which one is good

I heard that bluehost is not really good, though they advertized unlimit storage and bandwidth, once u are using too much, they will request you leave
