Sales Tax Quit Working

Hi -

I've not changed anything regarding my sales tax settings, zones or location. My sales tax worked fine on Saturday, and now when I tried a test transaction on Sunday and Today (monday) - the sales tax doesn't work.

The only areas I was working in were: Admin - Config - - checking things like layout, email setting etc. I was also working in admin-tools-define pages - to change some of the text on some of my pages. I was also on my CPanel - in my file manager editing some PHP files - regarding the page headings in the side boxes, and such - but nothing else - and nothing remotely having to do with sales tax.

The only thing I can think of that I did that was even close to any of the modules was on the shipping module I turned OFF the email debug thing on the USPS module that I am using, and I turned off the "FREE ZEN CART CHARGECARD" - I'm not sure what that is - but I did try turning it back on and nothing helped - so I left it alone.

If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to them - I did work on my php files for the order total area - but I think I just browsed them, and not really change anything.

I need the sales tax to work for WI - and I do have it set up properly - as I had it working fine before Sunday - and now it stopped working. I have the most current version of ZC.

I experienced the same problem this week.

I added a download to a product and my sales tax quit working. I have the zones set up correctly along with the tax rates but everything purchased now shows as $0.00 tax.
I removed the download option and still don't have sales tax being calculated.

If anyone can help figure out how to get the sales tax working again it would be great.

I have that same exact problem.
