Removing number from order confirmation email

Hi

How would i removed the order nuber from the confirmation Email?

I only want it to say 'Order Confirmation' rather than what it currently says, which is. 'Order Confirmation No. #xx'

I know I have to edit the orderr.php file, but I don't know what I need to add/remove to achieve this.

Wouldn't tracking the order be easier for your customer with a number? Why would you want to remove it?

Well as the eshop is brand new, the order number is low.

The site s going live next week and the client, doesnt want to make out to their prospective customers that they havent had many orders.

Within the email already, is the order number, so I don't need it within the email subject.

I've found a solution, but it was using a previous version of Zen Cart and I couldnt find the code in my current version.

I'm using Zen Cart Zen Cart 1.3.8

In my experience customers don't bother about the "size" of the order number, but if this bothers you, you can RE-SET the order number to increment from a higher value:-

ADMIN>>>TOOLS>>>STORE MANAGER

That may be the case.

I removed the $zf_insert_id from the order.php file

So it reads

zen_mail($this->customer['firstname'] . ' ' . $this->customer['lastname'], $this->customer['email_address'], EMAIL_TEXT_SUBJECT ,  $email_order, STORE_NAME, EMAIL_FROM, $html_msg, 'checkout', $this->attachArray);

This now means that my order confirmation email just says

Order Confirmation

I think I'll reset the number too
