Please someone help me.. install.. been trying 4 days now :(

Hi, really really do need some help.

Firstly, ive used zencart before - but someone else installed it for me - so i'm ok.with the admin.

Also, last year, i didnt have any hosting, but found info on how to set it up on your computer:

Which i followed and done it.

I'm on ONE HOSTING, with, PHPMYADMIN 2.9.2 - Sorta worked out today that this could be the datebase - though wasnt obvious when signed on.

I've searched numerious and read threads / how to/ , on zencart on and off for days. but so confused as dont understand it all.

I've still got flashfxp on pc. and somehow installed the zencart files to it - so got that far, from downloading and unzip.

So, if i refer and follow this:

Whats that

• this is where i need help really - to understand whats what.I really really would appreciate if anyone can help me.

I dont want to take another week to try and understand how to install it.

Sorry, bit delay in replying.

But yes, do need a bit of assistance :)

I did try and follow another thread

• that gave some step by step instructions on using 'filezilla' - got so far till it mentioned public_html.

• this not on mine - but after more searching I found another thread on same thing - why public_html bnot showing.

So, going to go through that and see if can get bit further :)m

public_html is a normal directory on a linux base but refers to whatever your www accessible area is and could be htdocs, www, or other designations depending upon the platform and manager.

Manager could be HSphere, Plesk, and others

Did you get the answers you were looking for cause im havimg the same problem. The part I'm stuck on is "before running the installer", can't get past it. Please help me!!!
