I need to change my configure files..again.

I'm looking at them both right now and the main page of my site is an intro page to the 3 sites I have and it's index.html. The store page is index.php. Would I need to change these to have index.php at the end of them?

shop configure file:
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');
define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/####/####/####/####/####/');

admin configure file:
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');
define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/####/####/####/####/####/');

I'm sure it's what I need to do but need affirmation before I screw it up. Also will this change the home link in the shop to say index.php? As mine takes me back to my intro page which is what I don't want.

I'm not exactly clear what you mean here...

You have 3 zencart shops.

These are linked from your home page, called by index.html

One of these shops shares the same root directory of index.html, becuase its index.php is there too.

(Where are the index.php files for the other two sites? - You can't have 3 zc's installed in the same directory!)

The path in configure.php MUST NOT BE CHANGED.

(Still not sure what you want to achieve - but will predict that if you tamper with the configure.php paths, you'll foul things up!)

No I don't have 3 carts just one. The intro page has links to 3 sites, one under my main domain and 2 subdomains. The home link on the index page of the shop goes back to the intro page. Just wonder if I have to add index.php to the config files so it will go back to where the shop page acutally is or is there something in the regular files that I can change and put it in my custom folder?
