move home/login to left column

I'd like to move the home/login and similar option to the left color and get rid of the breadcrumb thing on the top.

I would like to have a uniform look with the other sideboxes.

Thanks!

Re: move home/login to left column

Create or use a current sidebox (blank sidebox from the downloads section) to house code that you will relocate from your template copy of tpl_header.php.

Look for the div id navMain - comment this out or delete/copy to your sidebox file

Bread crumbs - admin > config > layout settings > Define Breadcrumb Status

Re: move home/login to left column

Ok I've got the box up... but I can't figure out how to get the code to work in it.

I copied from <div id navMain> to the end </div>

Am I only supposed to copy the code after the <div> tag and before the /<div>?

When I posted the info into the sidebox tpl_blank_sidebox.php file I put it where it said to, but I hadn't deleted the <div id navMain> and I couldn't figure out exactly how to comment it out.

It went blank, only showing the header is it because I was attempting to put navMain on there twice?
