Updating Prices in a Batch

Hello,

Is it possible to update the prices in a batch? For example, adding 5% to all products under a certain category? I've seen this thread, but to me it looks like updating product id by product id.

Thank you,
Alon

Re: Updating Prices in a Batch

Thanks Jack. Works great.

I'll use this thread to ask a related question: We would like to review all prices and update them, not necessarily products within a certain category. Doing it from the admin area is extremely tedious.

For example, we would like to download all the catalog to a spreadsheet, review all records and update where necessary. When done, we would like to upload the spreadsheet with the updated prices.

How can one do that? If you can suggest an alternative convenient way to update the prices, I'll be happy to hear about it

Thank you,
Alon

Re: Updating Prices in a Batch

Right. This is not the first time I'm reffered to EP.

There are several versions though:

[1] the built in EP I found in 1.3.8a which didn't work.

[2] EP_v2_76d_ZEN_MOD2 for ZC 1.3.x.

[3] Modhol free version.

[4] Modhole Advanced EP.

Do you guys have any preference?

Thanks,
Alon
