product listing columns

I would love my products to be listed out as two or three in each row, rather than what I have now...one item in each row, for each category. Can some one explain to me how I do this in admin? Is it possible, or is it a style sheet change? I am not a programmer, so keep it very simple please.
thanks!

Re: product listing columns

Go to the downloads section in the top nav bar on this page

Search for column grid & download it - install it according to the directions - configure it from the admin
