Is there a way to search on a specific attribute option value?

I'm trying to add a "Big & Tall" category to my site. I'd like to search to see which products have the appropriate size attributes, so I don't have to look at each one (100+).
Is there a way to search on this info through either the store or the admin?

Can you give a blow by blow of what you want to be able to "say" or "select" or what have you ... and what you want to "see" and "now be able to do" once you "see" which products meet the criteria?

I'd like to either use the storefront, or the admin (preferably admin) to be able to find, for example, all the shirts on the site that have the attribute Adult Size -> 4X. Or any other attribute value.

This would make quick work of creating a product category for ""Big & Tall" - or whatever other ways I'd like to break down the store.

I've had a lot of requests for big and tall sizes - I'd love to call them out, and being able to just do a "simple" search would make life easier.

(and when I say simple, I mean simple as in "It's easy, you just..." - like when the electrician gives you instructions for rewiring your garage. :)

Did you try the custom meta tag trick where you can include words in them that work with the search?

Not exactly ... I was referring to the Custom Meta Tags themselves as an alternative on the search as they are used in the search as well ...

See the post that misty indicated for you to look at in regard to searches on attributes and it not being a fun thing ...
