zen cart fresh install problem

Hi,
I've spent the whole day and am stuck. Does anyone know what to do?
I currently have a website mydomain.com up and running at host A.
I just signed up to have that same mydomain.com run at host B. Host B calls this a transfer domain account since I haven't did the re-direct yet. I want mydomain.com to be up and running while I'm working on it on Host B.

Here's the problem. Host B has all the directory structured setup so that it uses the same mydomain.com. When I went ahead and did a fresh install of of ZC v1.3.8a everything installed successful. However, when I went to view the website it shows up misaligned and missing images.

I figured out the reason for this is because there are a lot of paths that are pointing to the currrently up and running mydomain.com at host A, which of course does not have the images that I just installed on host B.

Does anyone know how I can fix this so I can work on the site that has the same domain name without having to shut the other one down?

When I install zen cart it automatically defaults to mydomain.com to install to and I can't change it. What can I do about this? Thanks for any help.

As your Domain name is pointed to Host A, you would need to use an IP address at Host B, if they provided you with one. You would also need to enter the IP address in your Zen Cart config files.

do you know which config files I need to change. I was thinking of the ip address thing to basically when I type in. http://IP/~username I'm able to view my website.

However when I type http://IP/~username/admin I get a page not found instead of the admin login.

So which config files do I need to edit to fix viewing the website and also allowing me to get to my admin panel?

Ok, I found out the answer.
modifty the files.
includes/configure.php
admin/includes/configure.php

that helped me fix the problem.
