Stumped

When I first installed Zen Cart I turned off some side boxes like More Information, but now when I try and turn them back on they no longer show up. I do have a custom template up, but the files are showing up and the option is showing up in the layout box controller. This is driving me crazy.

Re: Stumped

If you switch to the Classic Template do they all show?

Were your columns customized to force which sideboxes display in your template?

Re: Stumped

When I switch to classic the sideboxes still do not show.

I am not sure if they were forced to show certain ones. I was under the assumption they were not. They were done by EF graphics using a custom template and everything.

Re: Stumped

And you are sure that in the Layout Boxes Controller they are turned on?

And that all of the customization for your template used templates and override features and not the original files?

Re: Stumped

The boxes are turned on, I have double checked and when I swich back to the orignal template they still do not show up.

I am not sure if they used all templates, I guess I should message the person who created the template and find out, unless there is another way of finding out.

Re: Stumped

You need to check in your template_default directory - if they are not there then adding them to your template will not make any difference.

Also - your URL?

Re: Stumped

What settings have you used in the Layout Boxes Controller for any of the boxes you do want to show?

Re: Stumped

I have made sure that Left/Right Column status is selected to on, selected that that they show up in the left column(though I have also tried right column), left LEFT/RIGHT COLUMN Sort Order as deafult(though the one I did try switching it to 0 after it didn't work), same for SINGLE COLUMN Sort Order, and have tried both on and off for SINGLE COLUMN Status, though right now it is selected as on.

Re: Stumped

I'd un-install the betterCategoriesEzInfo mod, and see if the sideboxes return.

Re: Stumped

ok so I was looking in my files and I found the mod. I for some reason wasn't thinking I had someone create me a custom, and they must of installed that mod. Problem is I have no idea how to uninstall that mod.

Re: Stumped

Download the mod, look at which files it added to your altertimes override folders and delete them (the files, not the folders).
